Freight Brokerage and shipping needs

Ruddy Express can get your MC Number (ICC Number) assigned the same day you send us your application. We will also file your BOC-3 (Designation of Process Agents) towards your application. OBTAIN MOTOR CARRIER AUTHORITY / USDOT
If you are going to be transporting across state lines as a for-hire (being compensated) carrier then you will need an MC Number (also known as Trucking Authority). This requirement applies to trucking companies that transport cargo, moving companies that transport household goods, and limo or bus companies that transport passengers for a fee. If you operate commercial vehicles transporting passengers or hauling cargo in interstate commerce you must get your number. OBTAIN MOTOR CARRIER AUTHORITY / USDOT
Once your MC Number is issued the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) requires that you have the BOC-3 filed toward your application. This filing is one of the main requirements needed in order to get your operating authority activated and Ruddy Express is registered with the FMCSA as one of the blanket process service agencies that handle the filing. IFTA ( International Fuel Tax Agreement) reporting
The International Fuel Tax Agreement (or IFTA) is an agreement between the lower 48 states of the United States and the Canadian provinces, to simplify the reporting of fuel use by motor carriers that operate in more than one jurisdiction.[1] Alaska, Hawaii, and the Canadian territories are not required to participate, however all of Canada and Alaska do. An operating carrier with IFTA receives an IFTA license and two decals for each qualifying vehicle it operates. The carrier files a quarterly fuel tax report. This report is used to determine the net tax or refund due and to redistribute taxes from collecting states to states that it is due. Ruddy Express offers this service at a competitive rate.
